加拿大中华诵才艺大赛是一项深受广大师生欢迎的新的汉语教育项目，展示中文教育培训成果。主要由来自各开设中文课程的当地学校的学生表演, 学习用中文演唱中国现代歌曲，京剧。是世界多元文化交流与 交融，发展与繁荣的生动体现。进一步激发外国学生学习汉语的热情，为学习汉语，了解中国文化开辟一种崭新的形式。
比赛歌曲选择符合各年龄段的特征,形式分独唱,合唱,配合舞蹈和器乐演奏等,展示中国优秀歌曲艺术。
This is a new Chinese teaching project which is deeply welcomed by the majority of teachers and students. The participants are mainly the students from the schools which have Chinese classes. They will sing Chinese songs in Chinese to show some achievements of Chinese language learning and teaching. It is a vivid demonstration of the world’s multicultural exchange and blending, and the Chinese language’s development and prosperity in Canada.It can also further encourage the students’ enthusiasm of learning the Language and getting to know the Chinese culture.
The competition songs should be compatible with students’ ages. The performance can be in solo and group singing and can be accompanies with musical instruments and dances to demonstrate the arts of the excellent Chinese songs.
