        为培养青少年的中文表达能力、舞台表现力、领导力与文化自信,加拿大华文教育学会正式推出:

加拿大华文教育学会学生艺术团
现面向全加拿大5–18岁青少年开放报名!

我们欢迎来自不同文化背景、不同语言环境的青少年加入,通过中文朗诵、舞台表演与文化体验,提升表达能力、建立自信、拓展国际视野,感受中华文化的独特魅力。

        艺术团以中文朗诵与舞台表达为核心培养方向,融合语言艺术、表演艺术、中华文化传播及领导力培养,为青少年打造一个专业、多元、自信的成长平台。在这里,孩子不仅能够提升中文表达能力,更能够在舞台实践中锻炼沟通能力、培养团队精神、建立文化认同感,并在多元文化环境中勇敢表达、自信成长。

一、招生对象
招生年龄:5–18岁青少年
招生范围:面向全加拿大青少年开放报名
无论是否具有中文家庭背景,只要热爱中文、热爱表达、热爱舞台,均欢迎加入学生艺术团。已报名全球华语朗诵大赛的学生优先录取。

录取方式:艺术团实行面试录取制度。
为确保整体训练质量及舞台呈现效果,学生需提交报名申请并参加面试,由专业教师团队综合评估后择优录取。

正式入团后,学生成员可竞选艺术团团长、副团长等学生领导岗位,由全体团员民主投票选举产生,培养组织能力、责任意识与领导才能。

三、培训时间与地点
开课时间:2026年7月正式开课
上课时间:每周六下午 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
上课地点:万锦市(Markham)或列治文山市(Richmond Hill)
具体上课地点将根据报名情况统一安排,并提前通知家长。

四、课程费用
(面试通过后缴费)

每期课程共10节课,每次课2小时

七、学生成长与发展机会
表现优秀、积极参与艺术团活动的成员,将有机会获得加拿大华文教育学会出具的推荐信(Letter of Recommendation),以表彰其在语言表达、领导力、团队合作及社区服务方面的突出表现。

同时,学生还可优先申请参与加拿大华文教育学会举办的各类文化活动、赛事及社区项目的志愿服务工作,并获得符合加拿大中学要求的义工服务时数(Volunteer Hours)。

通过丰富的实践与服务机会,学生不仅能够提升综合素养与社会责任感,更能够积累宝贵的领导力与社区参与经历,为未来申请大学、奖学金及各类青年发展项目增添竞争优势。

Tell Their Own Stories Through the Chinese Language

To foster Chinese language proficiency, stage presence, leadership skills, and cultural confidence among young people, the Canadian Chinese Education Society proudly presents:

Canadian Chinese Education Society Student Arts Ensemble
Now Accepting Applications from Youth Ages 5–18 Across Canada

We warmly welcome young people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to join our program. Through Chinese recitation, stage performance, and cultural enrichment experiences, students will strengthen their communication skills, build confidence, broaden their global perspectives, and discover the richness of Chinese culture.

Centered on Chinese recitation and stage expression, the Student Arts Ensemble combines language arts, performing arts, cultural education, and leadership development to create a professional, inclusive, and inspiring environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

Here, students will not only improve their Chinese communication skills, but also develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, and cultural awareness through meaningful stage experiences and artistic practice.

1. Eligibility
Age Requirement:Youth ages 5–18
Who Can Apply
Applications are open to young people across Canada.

Whether or not you come from a Chinese-speaking family, if you are passionate about the Chinese language, public speaking, performance, and cultural learning, we welcome you to join our Student Arts Ensemble.

Priority consideration will be given to students who have registered for the Global Chinese Recitation Competition.

Admission Process
Admission is by interview and audition.

To maintain a high standard of training and performance, applicants are required to submit an application and participate in an assessment conducted by our professional teaching team.

Upon admission, students may run for leadership positions such as President and Vice President of the Student Arts Ensemble. Student leaders will be elected democratically by ensemble members, providing valuable opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility, and organizational skills.

Bilingual Chinese-English cultural showcase activities
3. Schedule and Location
Program Start Date :July 2026
Class Schedule : Saturdays 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location:Markham or Richmond Hill, Ontario
The final class location will be determined based on enrollment and communicated to families in advance.

4. Tuition
(Tuition is payable only after successful admission.)

Each term includes:

10 classes per term
1.5 hours per class
Regular Tuition: $298 per term
Early Bird Tuition: $198 per term
Register and successfully complete the admission interview by June 14, 2026.

The following fees are not included in tuition:

5. Performance and Showcase Opportunities
Outstanding students may be invited to participate in:

① Large-scale performances at the Global Chinese Recitation Competition Awards Ceremony

② Community cultural performances across Canada

③ Priority recommendation for international summer camps and cultural exchange programs

④ Cultural and artistic events organized by the Canadian Chinese Education Society

These opportunities allow students to gain valuable stage experience, showcase their talents, and broaden their horizons.

6. Our Goals
We strive to help students:

✅ Enhance cross-cultural communication skills and global awareness

✅ Grow into confident and articulate young people in multicultural communities

✅ Become future leaders with both international perspectives and strong cultural roots

7. Student Leadership and Development Opportunities
Students who demonstrate outstanding performance, active participation, and commitment to the Student Arts Ensemble may be eligible to receive a Letter of Recommendation from the Canadian Chinese Education Society in recognition of their achievements in communication, leadership, teamwork, and community engagement.

In addition, students may be given priority consideration for volunteer positions at cultural events, competitions, and community programs organized by the Canadian Chinese Education Society. Eligible participants may earn volunteer service hours that can be applied toward Ontario secondary school community involvement requirements.

Through meaningful leadership and service opportunities, students will strengthen their personal growth, develop a greater sense of social responsibility, and gain valuable experience in community engagement. These experiences can also enhance future applications for scholarships, leadership programs, internships, and post-secondary education opportunities.

8. Partnerships and Community Support
We warmly welcome Chinese schools, educational institutions, community organizations, and educators to support and participate in the development of the Student Arts Ensemble.

Schools and teachers who recommend students to join the program may, upon approval, be recognized as Educational Partners or Artistic Advisors of the Canadian Chinese Education Society Student Arts Ensemble.

Together, we can create more opportunities for young people to learn, perform, grow, and share their cultural heritage.

The Canadian Chinese Education Society looks forward to building long-term partnerships with schools, educators, and community organizations to advance Chinese arts education worldwide and inspire the next generation through language, culture, and the performing arts.
