由加拿大约克大学和加拿大华文教育学会主办，中国汉办协办的第二届中文教育教学国际研讨会将于2011年8月5日-10日在加拿大约克大学召开。
本次大型国际学术会议希望通过国际上从事教育管理的专家学者、中文教学的教师以及研究者之间的交流和切磋，提高中文教育教学水平，增强职业素养，加强国际间中文教育和教学的互动。

The conference aims to provide a platform for Chinese language teachers, professors, and administrators to share their teaching experience and research, exchange views on language teaching pedagogy, and introduce the latest multi-media technology. The conference is jointly organized by York University and the Chinese Culture and Education Society of Canada. It is sponsored by Hanban, Chinese Ministry of Education.

Content:
A full day of symposia and workshops including keynote speakers and various panels divided by topics.
1. Panel topics:
o Comparative study of administrative systems in China and other countries;
o Research on Chinese teaching methodology and practice;
o Theoretical approaches to applied Chinese Linguistics;
o Teaching cultural in the Chinese language classroom;
o Integration of multimedia technology and resources to enhance teaching effectiveness;
Review of different textbooks.
